Pool Shade for the Kids

Scott and Hayley, with two young kids, needed a pool shade solution to protect their family from sunburn while enjoying the pool. Having revamped their yard, they sought a shade sail that matched their unique aesthetic. Relieved to find ShadeSpot™ after receiving high quotes elsewhere.

Scott and Hayley were thrilled at having their WaveSail™ installed at the beginning of summer so that the kids could enjoy the pool all season, with an almost SPF 50 sunscreen over the entire pool.

Their chosen box-frame was designed by ShadeSpot's structural engineers to support a floating WaveSail™. Scott has a local builder install the frame, before Scott and a neighbour installed their Lexicon Quarter® sail, (LxW) 9.37m x 4.5m. A floating sail was chosen as their structures were set back from the area wanting shade.
